The Gill Launch Process (GLP) transforms traditional Advanced Product Quality Planning into a highly disciplined approach for product launch integrated into Gill Industries systems and culture. Our cross functional teams and systematic process for design, development and launch consistently demonstrate innovative, cost effective, quality products, on time.

1. Gill benchmarked other processes used, and developed our own Gill Launch Process (GLP) to assist in the launch of new programs.
2. GLP incorporates all of our customers' APQP requirements:
   • DFMEA/PFMEA
   • Process Flow Diagram
   • Control Plan
   • DVP & R (Design Verification Plan & Report)
   • Manufacturing Readiness Work Plan, etc.
3. Additionally, it contains elements to better enable us to launch programs successfully, such as:
   • A Program Scorecard to help us monitor financial, technical, and operational goals during each phase
   • Checklists to ensure completeness and consistency for design, supplier, equipment, tooling, and gage reviews
   • Gateway reviews to ensure senior management approval at 5 key stages of program launch
   • Value Stream Mapping
4. We also document lessons learned in a database and review lessons learned from past programs.
